UM drives new neuroscience discoveries with the Michigan Neuroscience Institute

The brain is the most complex organ in the human body. Researchers at the U-M Michigan Neuroscience Institute (MNI) are investigating how the brain gives rise to emotions, perceptions, motivations, actions, and consciousness and are using that information to prevent and treat today’s most complex brain disorders including addiction, depression, epilepsy and dementia. MNI is creating new synergies, enabling great discoveries, and enhancing the impact of neuroscience across the University of Michigan.
